Sometimes It's just nice to be not nice.

This is an elf/discard hybrid control deck with built-in elf buffing package.

• Ramp mana, play a bunch of Elves and control your opponents by making them discard everything! After discarding, empty your opponents graveyards with Scavenging Ooze,Relic of Progenitus, Deathrite Shaman so they won´t bring anything nasty back.

• After getting a board full of of 1/1 elves, either sack them to Attrition to get rid of blockers or to Mind Slash to Thoughtseize your opponents hands, Devour them with Tar Fiend to get even more elves or pierce their skulls with Skullclamp.

• Some additional discard synergy is provided by Geth's Grimoire, Larceny and Painful Quandary. Sadistic Hypnotist is a complete lockdown with Nath of the Gilt-Leaf on the field.

• Tokens are also made for combat! Most of the elves buff one another like Imperious Perfect, which also generates more tokens. Elvish Champion, Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Dwynen, Gilt-Leaf Daen are also made for this. Ezuri works like Overrun and is meant for finishing players. Bellowing Tanglewurm and Eladamri, Lord of Leaves are great tools for finishing. People not playing green get wurmed up and players with forest get sneaked up behing by Eladamri's forces.

• Grave Pact + Attrition is some serious value. Blood Artist helps a bit if you do a lot of saccing.

• Glissa, the Traitor brings back Memory Jar and important destroyed artifacts like Skullclamp, Nihil Spellbomb or Relic of Progenitus.

The oofs:

• One of the decks biggest weaknesses has been flyers. Gravity Well is for protecting my ass from all things flying. One big stumbling block is also getting your important elves countered. Gaea's Herald has worked a couple of times.

• Nath becomes a huge target as soon as he hits the board and It's not always possible to protect him. Also Naths ability is a political problem, but I often use a die to decide at least the first couple of targets. The ability can also be used as a negotiation tool if necessary.

• Board wipes also kind of ruin everything. Kindred Dominance is a saving grace from my side of table (unless an opponent plays elves too).Patriarch's Bidding helps a bit. Heroic Intervention should be Acquired ASAP!

• I'm still thinking about some discarding spells. Mind Twist has worked wonders before, but should it be replaced with something that targets everyone?

• I'm also quite aware that tribal decks are not that efficent (Nath works as a stax-type of deck too), but I'll stay adamant about including the elf package.
