This is my first ever deck that I built from scratch. Lots of fun to put together and lots of fun to play. There are lots of high cost cards but I have played plenty of games with it and never really ran into much problem getting my guys out.
The main objective is to get Brisela, Voice of Nightmares out by melding Gisela, the Broken Blade and Bruna, the Fading Light. Thalia's Lancers is a big help in doing that since I can search my library for a Legendary card and put into my hand. I usually try and get Gisela first since she is cheaper to play and because Bruna has an ability that allows me to take a Angel or Human from my graveyard and put it on the field. So even if both my Giselas were to be destroyed I can still play my combo with Bruna's ability. Once melded, Brisela has an interesting ability where opponents cannot plays cards with CMC of 3 or less. This makes Armageddon very interesting play because opponents would not be able to play anything at all for 3 turns at least. Very frustrating I would assume.
Angel of Jubilation is a nice buffer for my creatures while also messing with lots of decks that bank on sacrificing creatures to run. Resolute Archangel is a nice "reset" card if things don't go as planned and I start taking more hits than wanted.
I am a fan of the Double Strike ability so Mirran Crusader and Silverblade Paladin were obvious choices to add. Having a Fiendslayer Paladin with Double Strike (via Soulbound) is pretty nice also with his Lifelink ability. Doomed Traveler is ideal as he gives me a 1-drop blocker that will turned into a flier when he dies.
I took someone's advice and added Oblivion Ring and was very glad to do so. Allowing me to exile any non-land permanent (not just a creature) is very useful since I've played against pretty powerful artifacts and enchantments. Plus I have Fumigate and Day of Judgment to clear out creatures if I need to.

PS: For those looking for a modern deck, this one would be modern by switching out Armageddon with another Fiendslayer Paladin and Mirran Crusader or by adding 2 Angel's Feather for some extra life gain.
