One thing to remember with Nekusar, an important part of winning is killing your opponents before he enables their victory through card draw. You really are going to want to get infect on him, through cards like Phyresis, Glistening Oil, or Grafted Exoskeleton.
This means you need to be careful with cards that confer Shroud - while those cards are fine after you enchant or equip Nekusar with your infect enabler, if you draw them too early, you cannot use them to protect Nekusar before he gains infect (other than Lightning Greaves which you could equip to something else and back onto Nekusar).

The "exile it at the beginning of the next end step"-ability is granted to the creature card, so no matter who controls the card in the end step, it will trigger to be exiled.
You can counter the trigger with a Disallow, that would make it stay (though funnily enough it would still be exiled when it eventually leaves the battlefield).

Like a lot of my other decks, new cards have come out and I am updating/upgrading some of my original video themed decks. For those interested in the breakdown for Version 1.0 see below:
This started as an Ode to the original Mortal Kombat, but as I built the deck to compete with the other video game themed decks (my ode to series) I had to expand the roster a bit. I went with the latest version of MK11. It was difficult to find 1 for 1 character cards so some are a bit of a stretch and I am looking for better suggestions. As with these decks, I try to make them playable as well. This is a legendary/big mana style deck with splashy X spells fulfilling the goal of Finishing Moves. Many of the Kombatants have abilities that can serve as mana sinks. This is version 1.0 and I am hoping to upgrade based on suggestions and as new cards are released. This is a casual deck designed to compete with the other video game themed decks and their power levels. Commander - Ramos (representing the mortal kombat dragon) gives me the 5 colors A few of the characters:

Nice decklist, we had the same idea !
It's awfully close to mine if you omit some lands : Indomitus.
If I can give you some comments/advice, I think you should replace Stroke of Midnight with Generous Gift, the 3/3 is almost always irrelevant and the ability to hit a key land is not the be underestimated.
Assemble the Legion is good on paper, but it's terribly slow, your're better off with another creature like Goblin Rabblemaster or the Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia already in your Maybeboard.
Otherwise, awesome list, keep it up !

berserk76 This looks like the beginning of a collection, rather than a decklist. Five Sol Rings, five Samwise the Stouthearted, five Path of Ancestrys... On top of the deck building tool, you can also add these to your personal inventory on this site. It's another option under the folder icon.
What particular colors and/or strategies do you like? Since this is starting with what looks like a bunch of recent Commander decks and a handful of boosters, the themes and mechanics are going to be pretty constrained.

I don’t really have a budget per card per se. But I guess I would like to keep the cards under $5 if I can. That’s why I didn’t add cards like Torment of Hailfire at $25 and a couple of other obvious ones. Most of these cards I already had so it made it a little easier. But what do you suggest?

God-Eternal Kefnet and Merfolk Looter are on the battlefield under my control. I activate Merfolk Looter's ability during an opponent's turn, thus drawing my first card for the turn and triggering God-Eternal Kefnet's ability. Which occurs first, do I reveal or do I discard?
I'm assuming it's the latter, but I'd like to be sure. Thanks in advance.
