I like the direction you have with The Millennium Calendar, which is why I mostly wanted to recommend stuff that also had Proliferate stapled onto it. The last time I played Simic +1/+1 counters was a few years ago with Eutropia the Twice-Favored at the helm of an Enchantress/Counters deck.

You and I have similar approaches, in that I also focus on what I have in binders for initial drafts before making dedicated (and pricey) upgrades. It feels good to flip through binders and mostly find what you need lol.

All that being said, looking forward to keeping tabs on your deck's development.

Otule, Matriarch of Migration

Legendary Creature - Elephant Matriarch Avatar

When Otule, Matriarch of Migration enters the battlefield, search your library for a forest or plains card. Then if you control another elephant, put that land onto the battlefield. If not, put that card into your hand.

Elephants you control gain +X +X where X is the number of basic forests and plains you control. If X is 5 or more, other Elephants you control have Vigilance, Trample, and Ward .

Whenever one or more creatures attack you, you gain 2 life for each basic land you control.

That was surprisingly fun. Elephants are insanely intelligent and have been observed to remember many branching migration routes, perform funeral rights, and more.

Create a martiarch card for another typal group that doesn't get a lot of love.

So I also run a Golgari Elfball deck, and it is great fun to pilot. Couple cards that are real good:

• Realmwalker - Gives you access to top card of your library, with such a large proportion of being Elves, can give you real card advantage.
• Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler - Gives you ability haste (redundancy for Thousand-Year Elixir) and a limited amount of grave interaction.
• Bolas's Citadel is bonkers in these low CMC decks. Is real fun lol
• Guardian Project - Will likely give you better value than Phyrexian Arena
• Overgrown Tomb - Feels like this land may just be a "will put it in the deck when I have one". Fetchable dual land

Real nice deck, and have upvoted. Good stuff. Be wary of the Shroud effects though from Eladamri, Lord of Leaves and Steely Resolve as you wont be able to equip your equipment (so Sword and mantle), or use The Ozolith, Thousand-Year Elixirs untap ability, or anything else you have that targets your own Elves. I am sure you are totally on top of it, but have made that mistake myself and been fully undone by it hahaha)

I think you need to work on some things:

• Posting a coherent sentence. Your above commentary reads more like a disjointed stream-of-consciousness than anything actually readable.

• Learning to interact civilly on the internet. I came here only to offer some (very legitimate) pointers. Your responses are absurdly combative - and completely unnecessarily so. Even if you disagree with suggestions someone is offering, there’s a way to do so without being an ass.

• Being able to think critically. Your responses indicate someone who’s put their “head in the sand” and wants to defend their case to the death without being able to properly and reasonably justify their position.

• Learn to learn. As said before, your position appears to be to chuck your “head in the sand” to any and all feedback. Thats not only going to lead to your deckbuilding skills stagnating, it’s also going to cause problems throughout life. Being ok with being wrong about things is a big step towards actually being able to grow as a person - ignoring that sets you up for repeating the same failures ad-infinitum.

Anyway, I can see there’s no point me trying to do any conversing here, as it’s entirely unproductive. So good luck with whatever mess you’ve brewed, and peace.

Right now I feel like the deck is tight.

I might recommend one or two low cmc warriors like Flameblade Adept, Goblin Cratermaker, Glory-Bound Initiate or Goblin Javelineer over some other creatures.

I might be biased as I playtested the deck up to be silly, only to end up with exuberant fuseling equipped with hammer t3 with resolute strike. Sure it may not be consistent, but that sure was fun.

I like this pet deck a lot.

DatShepTho Not a bad suggestion, its just with Dowsing Shaman I can keep bringing stuff back whereas Eternal Witness only does it when it play it. Shaman brings back only enchantments, but in reality, its only the enchantments we need to win with here. I dont think itd be the end of the deck to use witness instead of shaman though.
